• This query will show you Central Excise Tariff for any product. 

• Enter a product name in the Text Box and click the corresponding submit button.

• You will get a list of Products matching your criteria along with CETH(Central Excise Tariff Heading) Number.

• Click on particular CETH No. to get duty rates.

• To get the effective rate of duty click the List of Notifications link

• To see notification text, click on Notification No.

• Enter a Product Name (Full or part of the Product Name) in the Text Box and click the  submit button. (eg: for the steel you can type ste or steel , for cotton seed oil you can type cotton seed oil or cotton seed not cotton%[note: no special character]) 

• You are allowed to give more than one product name at a time by having AND or OR option . eg: for the products cotton and steel you can type    ( cotton and steel OR cott or stee OR ste and cott)

• The result of the search will show, whether any Product match the Product that you have queried, by displaying the same. Otherwise it will display “No matching Product found – Please start again”

• The information displayed are only as a facilitation measure, and you are advised to contact the jurisdictional Central Excise officer for any clarification in the matter.

CETH (Central Excise Tariff Head) No.

• Type  thge  CETH (in 9999.99 format) in the corresponding test box.
• Click the Submit button
• You will get varius duty type and duty rates for that CETH
• To get the effective rate of duty click the List of Notifications link
• To see notification text, click on Notification No.
