Notification No.   79/ 2005-Customs dated 1.9.2005
Amendments in Exemption Notification for items covered under India-Thailand Free Trade Agreement

 

G.S.R.              (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 85/2004-Customs, dated the 31st  August, 2004, namely:-

 

            In the said notification, in the preamble, for the words “fifty per cent.”, the words “twenty five per cent.” shall be substituted.

2.         This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of September 2005.
