NOTIFICATION  No. 70/2005-CUSTOMS dated 19.7.2005
Foreigners allowed duty-free import of foodstuff upto Rs one lakh

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 207/89-Customs, dated the 17th July, 1989, namely:-

In the said notification, for the words and figures “Rs. 50,000”, the words and figures “Rs. 1,00,000” shall be substituted.
