CBEC appoints adjudicators for DRI cases
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and
sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central
Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise
(Adjudication), New Custom House, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New
Delhi, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and
discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,
(i) The Commissioner of Customs, ICD, Tughalakabad, New Delhi;
(ii) The Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo, NCH, New Delhi;
(iii) The Commissioner of Customs (Import and General), NCH, New Delhi;
(iv) The Commissioner of Customs (Import), Mundra, Gujarat;
(v) The Commissioner of Customs, Kandla, Gujarat;
(vi) The Commissioner of Customs (Import), Sea Port, Chennai;
(vii) The Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Cochin;
(viii) The Commissioner of Customs, NCH, Mangalore;
(ix) The Commissioner of Customs, Hyderabad;
(x) The Commissioner of Custom(Import), Custom House, Kolkata;
(xi) The Commissioner of Customs, Kakinada;
(xii) The Commissioner of Customs, Gandhi dham; and
(xiii) The Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice
pertaining to Davinder Singh Dawar alias Goldy 1559, Main Bazar Paharganj, New
Delhi and others issued, vide, DRI F.No.23/35/2004-DZU, dated the 8th December
2006, by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence,
Delhi Zonal Unit, B- 3 and 4, 6th Floor, Prayawaran Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi
Road, New Delhi.
