CUSTOMS NOTIFICATION No.12/2001(N.T.) Dated 22.3.2001 
Appointment of New Ports

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) and clause (c) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.63/94-CUSTOMS (NT) dated the 21st November, 1994, namely :-

In the said notification, - 

(a)    for the first proviso, the following shall be substituted ; namely :-

 “Provided that – 

(i)

Chheherte Railway Station and Orient Jute Mill Jetty are appointed as Land Customs Station only for the purpose of export of foodgrains from India;

 

 

(ii)

Ghasuapara is appointed as Land Customs Stat. only for the purpose of exports of all goods from India ; and

 

 

(iii)

Golakganj is appointed as a Land Customs Station only for the purpose of export of stone boulders, stone chips and coal from India.” ;

 (b)  in the Table, against serial number 2 relating to Bangladesh, in column (3), after item number (51), and the relating thereto in column (4), the following shall be inserted , namely :-
