Alignment of Schedule I of ITC(HS) Classification with Customs Tariff entries
S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items as under:

1. In Chapter 53,-

(i) in heading 5305,-

(a) in sub-heading 530500, for the items 53050010 and 53050020, and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be substituted, namely: - 
53050010 --- Coir bristle fibre, coir mattress fibre, coir short fibre, coir bit fibre, decorticated coir fibre Free  

(b) in sub-heading 530500, for the item 53050040, and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be substituted, namely: -
53050040 --- Coir pith, processed in value added forms like briquette, coins, neo disc, grow bags, organic manure and in loose form for use in horticulture or agriculture. Free  

(c) in heading 5308, in sub-heading 530810,after the item 53081010 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely :-
53081020 --- Spooled hanks Free  

(d) in heading 5311, in sub-heading 531100, after the item 53110014, and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely: -
53110015 ---- Of coir including log form and geotextiles Free  

2. In Chapter 56, in heading 5602, for item 56029000, and the entries relating thereto, the following sub-heading, items and the entries shall be substituted, namely: - 
560290 - Other    
56029010 --- Of Rubberised coir , needled felt. Free  
56029090 --- Other Free  

3. In Chapter 57,-

(i) in heading 5701, in sub-heading 570190, after the item 57019010 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely : - 
57019020 --- Of coir including geo textile Free  

(ii) in heading 5702, in sub-heading 570242, after the item 57024220 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely: - 
57024230 --- Carpets, rugs and mats of Handloom Free  

(iii) in heading 5703, in sub-heading 570390, after the item 57039010 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely: - 
57039020 --- Carpets and floor coverings of Coir Free  

(iv) in heading 5705, in sub-heading 570500,

(a) after the item 57050023, and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted, namely: - 
57050024 ---- Cotton Durries of handloom (including ChindiDurries, Cotton Chenille Durries, Rag Rug Durrie, Printed Durries, Druggets) Free  

(b) after the item 57050041 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and the entries shall be inserted namely: -
57050042 ---- Mats and mattings including Bath Mats, where cotton predominates by weight, of Handloom, Cotton Rugs of Handloom Free  

4. In Chapter 94, in heading 9404, in sub-heading 940429, after the item 94042910, and the entries relating thereto, the following items and the entries shall be inserted, namely: -
94042920 --- Of Rubberised coir with or without combination of other materials, whether or not with metallic springs. Free
