Prescribe abatement form retail sale price for the calculation of assessable
value under MRP based assessment
G.S.R.(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of
1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the
public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department
of Revenue), No. 2/2006-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 1st March, 2006, vide
number G.S.R. 113 (E), published in the Gazette of India, Extra ordinary, Part
II, Section 3, sub-section (i) dated the 1st March, 2006, namely: -
In the said notification, in the Table,
(i) after S. No. 70A and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
inserted, namely:-
