Amendments in Schedule-I Imports Policy (6810)
 
S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule-I (Imports) to the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09:

1. The Policy conditions of the following Exim Codes will be amended as under:
 
6810 Articles of cement, of concrete or of artificial stone, whether or not reinforced
Tiles, flagstones, bricks and similar articles :		    
681011 Building blocks and bricks:    
68101110 Cement bricks Free However, import of rough blocks and slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be restricted.

Import of processed tiles /slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be permitted freely, provided cif value is US$ 50 and above per square meter.
68101190 Other Free However, import of rough blocks and slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be restricted.

Import of processed tiles /slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be permitted freely, provided cif value is US$ 50 and above per square meter
681019 Other:    
68101910 Cement tiles for mosaic Free However, import of rough blocks and slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be restricted.

Import of processed tiles /slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be permitted freely, provided cif value is US$ 50 and above per square meter.
68101990 Other
