DGFT  PUBLIC NOTICE NO-06  (RE: 2007)/2004-2009 dated 24.05.2007
DGFT amends Handbook for EO period and its extension under Advance Authorisation Scheme
 
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I:

1. In paragraph 4.22 relating to "Export Obligation (EO) Period and its Extension" under Advance Authorisation Scheme, third sentence stands substituted as under :

"In case of Spices [covered by Chapter 9 of ITC (HS)] and coconut oil, EO shall be fulfilled within 90 days from the date on which first import consignment is cleared by Customs Authorities."

2. In paragraph 6.7 (c) relating to "Conditions of Import" under EOD Scheme, third sentence stands substituted as under:

"Similarly, export obligation against import of items [covered by Chapter 9 of ITC (HS)] and coconut oil shall be fulfilled within a period of 90 days from the date on which first import consignment is cleared by Customs Authorities."
