DGFT NOTIFICATION NO.13(RE-2006) / 2004-2009 dated 15.6.2006
DGFT amends policy to allow benefits for intermediate supplies against Advance Authorisation / DFRC

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Foreign Trade Policy:

1. Paragraph 8.2 (a) and 8.3 (a) stands amended as follows:

"Supply of goods against Advance Authorisation/Advance Authorization for Annual Requirement/DFRC/DFIA."

2. Paragraph 8.4.1 (i) stands amended as follows:

"In respect of supplies made against Advance Authorisation/DFRC/DFIA in terms of Paragraphs 8.2 (a) of the Policy, the supplier shall be entitled to Advance Authorisation/DFRC/DFIA for intermediate supplies, as the case may be."

3. Paragraph 8.4.1(ii) stands amended as follows:

"If the supplies are made against Advance Release Order (ARO) or Back to Back Letter of Credit issued against Advance Authorisation / DFIA in terms of Paragraphs 4.1.11 and 4.1.12 of the Policy, suppliers shall be entitled to the benefits listed in Paragraphs 8.3(b) and (c) of the Policy wherever is applicable."
